The Sunspot Sunflower is a compact yet striking variety, perfect for small gardens, containers, and borders. Unlike towering sunflowers, Sunspot grows to a manageable height of 2-3 feet while still producing large, bright golden-yellow blooms with dark centers. This dwarf sunflower is an excellent choice for gardeners with limited space who still want the bold beauty of sunflowers. In addition to its ornamental appeal, Sunspot Sunflowers produce edible seeds that can be enjoyed by both humans and birds, making them a delightful and practical garden addition.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Sunspot Sunflowers thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Sow seeds directly outdoors after the last frost when the soil temperature reaches 70-75°F. Plant seeds 1 inch deep and 6 inches apart, thinning seedlings to 12 inches as they grow to allow proper spacing.

Seeds will germinate within 7-14 days. Water consistently during early growth but reduce watering once the plants are established to prevent over-saturation. Due to their short stature and sturdy stems, Sunspot Sunflowers rarely require staking. A balanced fertilizer can promote healthy growth and larger blooms.

These sunflowers bloom from mid-summer to early fall, attracting bees and butterflies while adding a bright, cheerful touch to any garden. Leave the seed heads on the plant to attract birds, or harvest the seeds for roasting and snacking.

With their compact size, vibrant flowers, and easy-growing nature, Sunspot Sunflowers are a fantastic choice for gardeners of all skill levels!
